On 7 September, Cardinal Gerhard Ludwig Müller addressed the “Tavola di Assisi 2026”: “Islam… is not ashamed of God, it is not ashamed of transcendence, but it proposes an anthropology and a revelation radically different from the Christian ones.” Invoking St Francis of Assisi’s encounter with Sultan al-Malik al-Kamil, Müller rejected the modern portrayal of Francis as a precursor of interreligious dialogue: “Francis did not go to Egypt to open a diplomatic salon and confirm the Sultan in his faith.” Instead, he went convinced that Jesus Christ is the only Savior. For Cardinal Müller, calling Muslims to conversion is “not an act of hostility… on the contrary, it is the highest act of charity.” He also warned that the Christian West is not “simply threatened by external forces, but is being worn down by an internal apostasy.”
On 6 September, the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX) was denied entry to the Basilica of Saint Francis in Assisi. The group had planned to conclude their annual pilgrimage with public prayer inside the basilica. Individual pilgrims were permitted to enter privately or in small groups. The group therefore remained outside and concluded their pilgrimage in the basilica square. Father Gabriele D’Avino, head of the FSSPX in Italy, drew a contrast between this decision and the interreligious gathering in Assisi on 27 October, for which representatives of different religions and Christian denominations are expected to attend the 40th anniversary of the 1986 World Day of Prayer for Peace.

Renzo Pegoraro, Leo XIV-appointed President of the Pontifical Academy for Life, has doubled down on his mad position on assisted suicide. Following his Avvenire interview, Monsignor Pegoraro told Corriere.it that Italy should pursue a national law, calling on political parties to press Parliament for legislation rather than leaving the issue to regional authorities. On the same day, his predecessor, Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia, intervened in LaRepubblica.it, saying Parliament should “shoulder its responsibilities” and establish national rules. Archbishop Pegoraro also addressed a Trentino provincial council committee examining an assisted-suicide bill, where he again called for uniform national regulation. LaNuovaBq.it suggests the simultaneous interventions could point to coordinated Italian Church backing for a national assisted-suicide law, possibly involving Italian bishops’ president Cardinal Matteo Zuppi.
The devil attacks those who spread Christian truth, “corrupts the shepherds” of the Church and seeks particularly to destroy the family, Cardinal Raymond Leo Burke told Shawn Ryan in his September 8 podcast. Ryan is a former Navy SEAL and CIA contractor. He grew up Catholic but never “took Church seriously”. When he left home, he lost faith. In 2025, he called himself a Christian believer. In April 2026, he said, “I consider myself Catholic, but I bounce back and forth between that and non-denominational.” In the interview with Burke, he said that he had undergone four exorcisms with two different priests after what he described as encounters with demonic entities. He also mentioned a psychedelic experience that he believed had shown him hell. Ryan described sensationalist disturbances that continued after the exorcisms, including picture frames coming off the walls, unexplained bodily “manifestations” and every smoke alarm and detector in his house repeatedly going off at around 12:45…níos mó

The final programme for the annual Rome pilgrimage of the Traditional Roman Rite (23–25 October) has been announced. However, there is a notable change this year: the pilgrims will enter St Peter's Basilica at 1 p.m. to pray, but there will be no Mass. Instead, pilgrims will travel to the Basilica of St Mary Major, where Bishop Athanasius Schneider will celebrate Mass at 3 p.m. On Friday evening, Bishop Schneider will preside over Pontifical Vespers at the Pantheon. Unlike in previous years, no cardinal is scheduled to celebrate the principal liturgies. On Sunday, the traditional Feast of Christ the King, Masses will be held at San Giovanni Battista dei Fiorentini, Santissima Trinità dei Pellegrini and Sant’Anna al Laterano. The organisers have expressed their gratitude to Cardinal Rolandas Makrickas, Archpriest of St Mary Major, for welcoming the pilgrims. Picture: Don Elvir Tabaković, #newsFjtfiqeqpm
Statement from the Summorum Pontificum Pilgrimage Organisers: "A Vatican source told AdVaticanum that the decision followed difficulties in obtaining access and permission for the celebration at St Peter’s this year." "According to the source, who is familiar with the negotiations, last year’s Mass was viewed within the Pope’s “circle” and among staff at St Peter’s Basilica as “gloating”... arguing that last year’s permission had been followed by a celebration whose scale and tone were interpreted as a triumph by those overseeing access to the basilica." “Whilst we are regretful that Mass will not be held at St Peter’s, we are grateful to the Holy Father and to the Cardinal Archpriest of the Liberian Basilica for giving us the opportunity to celebrate Mass alongside Our Lady,” the organiser said. The U.S. bishops’ Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) has given the Washington Interfaith Network (WIN) more than $400,000 across nine grant cycles since 2009, including $25,000 in 2026. The controversy concerns WIN’s leadership and CCHD oversight. Former CCHD grant specialist Randy Keesler was responsible for the Washington, D.C., region while also holding leadership roles within WIN - creating a potential conflict of interest. WIN is now headed by Protestant preacher Alison Dunn-Almauger, its executive director, who backed a homosexual campaign at Baylor University. Even more striking is WIN strategy-team member Rev. Rob Keithan, who previously worked with Planned Parenthood.

Can you hear Him? Can you hear His sweet Words echoing through the wind, traveling through time, reaching everywhere, staying true to His promise on how things should pass away, but His Words would never. More than 2,000 years ago Jesus spoke about Almighty Father wanting Mercy and Justice in order to for us to have a rich spiritual life... Many Powerful yet Sweet Words: "blessed the merciful as they shall receive Mercy, blessed those who hunger and thrist for righteousness, they will be filled", among all the other beatitudes key themes needed to go strive for perfection, you know, like humility, meekness, pureness of heart, compassion, accepting persecution in His Name and embracing joy for all of these happening in your life once accepting Jesus as Lord, although the two key ones for salvation, Mercy and Justice are the most twisted by our Lord’s enemies today. Our Lord’s left Arm is Mercy and His right Arm is Justice, as He is Divine Love like apostle John says, I repeat, God is Love …níos mó
Completed in May 2026, the restoration of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in O’Neill, Nebraska, revived its historic artistic character. Like many churches, its interior was disfigured in the mid-20th century, including the loss of its original apsidal fresco and installation of a monumental crucifix with a faux stained-glass-style backdrop. Conrad Schmitt Studios renewed the interior with stenciling, gold leaf, faux-marbled columns, and a new apsidal mural depicting the Ascension. The project also returned the high altar to prominence.
Before and After: St. Patrick's Catholic Church in O’Neill, Nebraska
Cardinal Walter Brandmüller, 97, in a text published by Sandro Magister on September 8, writes about “synodality.” Main points: - According to the classical Catholic understanding, a synod is a meeting of bishops for the purpose of exercising jointly their teaching and pastoral ministry. - In 1965, Paul VI created the so-called Synod of Bishops as a consultative body of the pope. - Recently established bodies whose members include, in addition to bishops, priests and lay faithful of both sexes cannot properly be called synods. - Competent laypeople can, of course, be entrusted with a consultative role. But wherever such collaboration is practiced, one should carefully avoid any misleading use of the terms “synod,” “synodality,” and the like, and instead find a term that adequately expresses the actual situation. - The establishment of such bodies arises from an effort to adopt secular structures and democratic procedures within the life of the Church. - What is being proposed within the …níos mó

Posted just 8 hours ago. After 4 years of Sanctions take a look around a typical Russian supermarket in Moscow, Russia. How does a typical Russian supermarket look? What are the prices & stock really like now? If you are wondering why there are so many American products in Russia, that's because Russia buys them from other countries after buying them from us. But I see a lot of bad products being sold. Which Russia needs to look into. The Picture below he is explaining there are check out's going into the 70's!!! Did you ever see so much food? It's amazing. And Russia would be more than happy to share their wealth of food with the rest of the world as they are doing to many countries. Mostly giving it away to the poorer countries. But the West rather see their own people suffer and starve and die. Russia is always willing to do fair trading. Though they sell everything including their oil at very low prices. Not wanting to cheat anyone and trying to make everyone happy. Youtube channel …níos mó
The West and US said there is also no oil in Russia. But Larry Johnson and The Judge along with Scott Ritter among others are actually in Russia some just left. And they say, there is no problem. In some areas it's low., but NOT out. Watched a few video's of Americans and people from other countries who actually show the gas stations and how there is no problem. Besides, Russia now has more oil they are getting from the Arctic.
