Environmental Propaganda in Paris Church. Worse than Germany: Since July 9, the nave of Saint-Eustache - one of Paris's largest historic churches - has housed Le Souffle, a 7-meter-tall laser-cut aluminum sculpture by contemporary artist Lydie Arickx. Suspended from the church's central vault, the work is presented as evoking deep-sea coral, the Tree of Life, and the human heart while promoting environmental awareness. The installation defaces the church through 29 September.
