First meeting of German Synodal Conference cancelled The first meeting of the proposed Synodal Conference of the Catholic Church in Germany has been cancelled after the Vatican failed to approve its statutes. The decision leaves the next stage of the country’s controversial Synodal Way without a date to begin. The meeting had been scheduled for November 6 and 7 in Stuttgart.
