The calm, the coherence and the logic of St. Joseph by Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira March, 19th 1976 What was the occasion in Saint Joseph’s life when he practiced logic to a heroic degree? It was the well known episode when he saw that Our Lady had conceived a child of which he was not the father. The Gospel mentions the matter. He was faced with an absurd situation. On one hand, it was evident to him that Our Lady was a saint because her sanctity shone forth in every way. However, on the other hand, he faced a situation that he could neither explain or live with. Instead of denouncing her as was required by Hebrew law, he came to the only logical conclusion: “The unnecessary person in this house is neither this mother, who is the owner and queen of this place, nor the child she has conceived. I am the unnecessary one. I will take my leave and vanish. I don’t understand this mystery, but I will not rise up against it. I will spend my days far off, venerating the mystery that I do not …ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು
Leo XIV wants to beatify controversial Aids-Priest Don Luigi. Leo XIV has opened the way towards the beatification of Luigi Di Liegro (1928–1997), a Roman priest who wanted to be close to people dying of AIDS. The pope made the announcement on Friday during the diocesan assembly in the Basilica of St John Lateran. He said he had “gladly approved” the steps necessary to begin the diocesan investigation into Di Liegro’s life, virtues and reputation for holiness. The most controversial episode of Di Liegro’s ministry came in 1988. As head of Caritas Rome, he insisted on opening a home for people with AIDS at Villa Glori in Parioli — an affluent Roman neighbourhood. It was the height of the AIDS panic. HIV was associated particularly with drug users and homosexuals. Residents protested. More than a thousand signatures were reportedly collected against the home. Rome temporarily delayed the opening; demonstrators marched against the project, while scouts, environmentalists and others organised …ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು
The synodal-conciliar hierarchy canonized Vatican second; today, Vatican II is "saint Vatican second," thanks to the canonization of all the post-vatican II popes.
We can’t give you medical care but we can kill you. This is the progressive thinking at Canada Health. How evil. It’s like reproductive choice. We can kill your unborn baby.

Bishop Strickland about the Traditional Latin Mass and the conciliar church Brothers and Sisters in Christ, For many Catholics, the traditional Roman liturgy is not merely in danger of being taken away. It has already been taken away. Diocesan celebrations have been suppressed, parishes have been forbidden to continue them, and faithful families have been told that the Mass which nourished generations of saints is no longer available to them. Some now drive long distances to find it. Others have no diocesan celebration within reach at all. Where communities such as the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter remain, the faithful are grateful. These priests have sought to preserve the traditional liturgy while maintaining a recognized canonical relationship with Rome. But precisely because they continue to submit to Roman authority, their people still live with the possibility that permissions may be narrowed, communities displaced, or the Mass restricted again. They know that what is permitted …ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು

In 1947, Italian nurse and postulant Pierina Gilli reported a series of apparitions of the Blessed Virgin in Montichiari, Italy. In one, Gilli said Mary appeared with three swords piercing her heart, symbolizing the suffering and spiritual failures among priests and religious. In a later vision, the swords were replaced by three roses — white, red and yellow — representing prayer, sacrifice and penance. She reported another series of apparitions in 1966 in nearby Fontanelle. In July 2024, the Vatican’s Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith granted a nihil obstat to the devotion associated with Gilli’s experiences and messages, allowing it to be promoted publicly while stopping short of declaring the reported apparitions supernatural.

‘The Book of Questions’ – St. Birgitta of Sweden – Interrogation 13, Revelation 9, pages 34-35; ‘Christ warns her to conform herself to that same Spirit.…’ [Saint Bridget of Sweden – XIV Century AD; born: Uppland, Sweden/died: Rome, Papal States; Patron Saint of Europe, Widow, Mystic, Spiritual Writer] Revelation 9 ~ The ninth revelation in the Book of Questions in which Christ speaks to his bride, blessed Bridget, and shows her how she has already been rescued and delivered from the house of the world and of vices, and that she has already been brought to live in the mansion of the Holy Spirit. And he warns her to conform herself to that same Spirit by ever persevering in purity, humility, and devotion. The Son speaks to the bride: ”You are a woman who was raised in a poor home and entered the company of the great. In a poor home there are three things: stained walls, harmful smoke, and soot everywhere. But you have been brought to a home where there is beauty without stain, heat without …ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು
"The Son speaks to the bride: ”You are a woman who was raised in a poor home and entered the company of the great. In a poor home there are three things: stained walls, harmful smoke, and soot everywhere. But you have been brought to a home where there is beauty without stain, heat without smoke, charm that is everywhere and never fails to please. The poor home represents the world. Its walls are pride, forgetfulness of God, abundance of sin, lack of forethought for the future."
Making blanket statements about "mother love" is naive, at best. It looks good on the Hallmark channel, but in reality, not so much. Ask the Clancy children.
Tragic Suicide of Italian -Priest, 75 Italian priest Lino Zatelli, 75, killed himself on August 12. He had been parish priest of San Carlo Borromeo in Trento for a quarter of a century. He was found dead inside the rectory of his parish after he didn’t show up to celebrate the Eucharist. Corriere del Trentino reported the death as a voluntary act. Two months earlier he had learned that he would have to leave San Carlo in November for another pastoral assignment. Zatelli publicly said he had not asked to leave. Sad detail: During his Easter homily, Don Zatelli preached about Judas's suicide. He discussed Judas as someone overwhelmed by despair who could no longer see beyond the obstacle before him, but emphasized Christ's forgiveness and imagined Jesus ultimately embracing Judas in heaven. Eucharists Beyond Rubrics A 2019 interview called him the “eternal bad boy of the Trentino Church.” A November 2020 profile describes Zatelli as working in a kind of laboratory parish. His Eucharists …ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು
We are obliged to pray for all of the lost, but the point is clear - current theological aberrations are poisoning the Faith and the Faithful. We are being led by those who "are like whitewashed sepulchers, which outwardly appear brilliant to men, yet truly, inside, they are filled with the bones of the dead and with all filth." Plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose.
[geopolitics_prime] Pentagon knew it hit an Iranian primary school ‘within hours’, still covering it up A new investigation into the February 28 Minab school attack based on an internal Pentagon probe into the incident has revealed that the DoD knew the target had no military significance almost immediately after the strikes took place. Sources told Bloomberg the military used Palantir’s Maven Smart System to prepare Trump’s 1k+ target shock-and-awe attacks, and that “gaps” in intelligence and prior cuts to personnel charged specifically with preventing civilian ‘collateral damage’ culminated in the school being hit. The US had nearly a decade-old satellite imagery indicating that the former IRGC compound had been turned into a primary school, punctuated by brightly painted walls, a soccer field, and playground markings. An analyst even marked down the changes in 2019, but their observations somehow weren’t “connected to the primary military intelligence database” from which targets …ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು
