Počas včerajšej pápežskej generálnej audiencie hudobný súbor na Svätopeterskom námestí zabával staršiu generáciu piesňami zo 70. rokov: Sweet Caroline od Neila Diamonda a Dancing Queen od skupiny ABBA. Druhá menovaná oslavuje nočný život.
Já si naopak myslím, že píseň je pro tuto událost odpovídající, zvláště, když přihlédneme, k textu svatých Písem:

Podczas wczorajszej papieskiej audiencji generalnej zespół muzyczny na Placu Świętego Piotra zabawiał starsze pokolenie piosenkami z lat 70-tych: Sweet Caroline Neila Diamonda i Dancing Queen zespołu ABBA. Ta ostatnia celebruje nocne życie.

To jest akurat kwestia interpretacji J 13 (skoro mycie nóg nastąpiło PO skończeniu wieczerzy J13,2, zaś Judasz wychodzi zaraz po spożyciu kawałka chleba - J 13,30).
Natomiast bezsporne jest że Jezus nazwał Judasza "synem zatracenia" (J 17,12) i powiedział że lepiej by dla niego było, gdyby się nie narodził (Mt 25,24)

I think it is a song about the visit of the woman who went to the post-conciliar Vatican "where they play the right (i.e. ecumaniacal) music" looking for its "king" who in the post-conciliar era can really "be anybody" - thus about "dancing queen" Sarah, "having the time of her life".
The song calls us to "watch that scene" when the "queen" and "king" meet, "leaving them (i.e. Catholics) burning" (with shame) and then the queen "is gone looking for another" adventure where "anyone will do" in this "mood for a dance".

Perhaps it was to awake nostalgy for the spirit of "conciliar spring" of 1960's and 1970's - long gone and forlorn. The song came out in 1976 - just a year after Montini's "charismatic moment" in St. Peter's Basilica.
Während der gestrigen päpstlichen Generalaudienz unterhielt das Musikensemble auf dem Petersplatz die ältere Generation mit Songs aus den 1970er Jahren: Sweet Caroline von Neil Diamond und Dancing Queen von ABBA. Letzteres zelebriert das Nachtleben.
Die verdorrte getrennte Rebe des Rebellen Prevost...... jetzt kann man deutlich verstehen, warum er die gregorianische Musik und die katholische Tradition so strikt ablehnt.
