The scene was captured by a photographer and shared by ORF Burgenland on Instagram. The bishop explained that he wanted to make his sermon "relevant" to the young congregation, having been told that the children in the area are avid scooter riders. By incorporating the vehicle into the service, he hoped to use it as a means of explaining the Holy Spirit in a way that would resonate with them.
