Behind a “prayer gathering for peace” in the papal gardens of Castel Gandolfo on July 29 was a secret dinner with wealthy donors, primarily Americans, reports Nd.nl on August 17. The evening was organised by the Vatican foundation Borgo Laudato si’, with the Andrea Bocelli Foundation as co-organizer. Employees of the dicasteries of the Holy See, the Governorate of Vatican City State and the offices of the Roman Curia were invited. Images show that several chairs remained empty. A Vatican employee said that the invitation wasn’t put up on the notice board until the morning of the concert. The evening consisted of a concert by tenor Andrea Bocelli and an interreligious children’s choir. Leo XIV then gave interviews to the American television networks NBC and Telemundo. Journalists from other media who were present were not allowed to speak with visitors and were kept under tight control. The incoming head of the Vatican’s Dicastery for Communication, the divorced lawyer Montse Alvarado, …Күбрәк
Semi-nude members of the folkloric group Caiapós de São José are seen rehearsing inside St. Benedict Church in Poços de Caldas, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The Feast of St. Benedict is celebrated there from May 1-13. The festivities honor St. Benedict, patron saint of Black Brazilians, and recall the abolition of slavery and the traditional assistance Caiapós gave to enslaved people.
RealRobert @Real_RobN And here it is… USAID more than doubled its spending on Brazil as soon as Bolsonaro won the 2018 election. This wasn’t because Brazil suddenly needed twice the aid; the money was spent on operations aimed at overthrowing the Brazilian government. The 2022 Brazilian election was stolen from Bolsonaro just as the 2020 U.S. election was stolen from Donald Trump and from Kari Lake in 2022, with USAID and the CIA involved in installing election-rigging machines that Brazilians didn’t even want. Just months before the election, CIA Director William Burns visited Brazil and warned Bolsonaro not to cast doubt on the voting machines or contest the election results — implying the newly installed machines were compromised. Additionally, Defense Secretary Lloyd “Woke” Austin — a DEI hire — visited Brazil and pressured the Chief of the Brazilian Armed Forces to accept the election results and support Lula, a convicted felon and self-proclaimed communist. How’s that for election …Күбрәк
After entering a civil ceremony in Cascais, Portugal, on August 11, Cristiano Ronaldo and his concubine Georgina Rodríguez received for their Amoris Laetitia relationship a blessing à la Fiducia Supplicans from a priest at the Shrine of Fátima. This was followed a Eucharist behind closed doors in the Chapel of Nossa Senhora das Dores. Ronaldo's management confirmed the civil marriage to Reuters. Portuguese and Spanish reports say the ceremony took place in the couple's living room. Both have publicly identified with “Catholicism”. On August 10, Ronaldo and Rodríguez signed a prenuptial agreement in Lisbon establishing separation of property. They retained their respective surnames, while the marriage record reportedly lists their residence as Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. “Their” children were present at the event in Fatima. Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., born in 2010, is Ronaldo's eldest son. His mother's identity has never been publicly disclosed, and Ronaldo has said he has custody of him. Twins …Күбрәк
On October 7, 1953, the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, during the consecration of the Fatima Basilica, the Patriarch of Lisbon, Cardinal Cerejeira, delivered a speech in which he described Fatima as " a wonderful anti-Russia. Russia has taken on the role of anti-Rome, or rather, the Rome of the Antichrist. It is leading the attack of militant atheism against the Christian Church in the world. It desires to destroy the Kingdom of God on earth. It professes the blasphemous Gospel – the salvation of man by his own efforts, without Christ." Kontekst fatimski (5)
Irish Female Preacher at Eucharist: "I’d Love to See Women Priests" Worse than Germany: On 13 August, Irish TV broadcaster Mary Kennedy delivered the homily during the 'National Novena' at Knock Basilica, Ireland. Kennedy is divorced, has had subsequent relationships and said she “shouldn’t really be receiving Holy Communion” but is an “à la carte Catholic”. She added, “that’s the kind of Catholic that suits me.” Furthermore, Kennedy said that she loves “the sound of the Muslim call to prayer”. Later in the address, Kennedy criticised what she described as the “male-dominated” ministry: “I would love to see women priests. I really would.”
On 13 August 2026, Irish broadcaster Mary Kennedy delivered a roughly 15-minute guest address entitled “Faith in Full View” during the National Novena to Our Lady of Knock in Knock Basilica, Co. Mayo, following the Gospel: “I would like it if it weren’t such a male-dominated ministry. I think there is real value in having women in important positions in the Church. It’s not going to change in my lifetime, or in the lifetimes of other people present here, but I really do feel that women would have a huge contribution to make to the Church, and I would love to see women priests. I really would.”

Rainbow Dance at the Altar Includes Men in Skirts: On August 15, at the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption in Torrelavega, Spain, parish priest Juan Carlos Rodríguez del Pozo introduced a “contemplative dance” in which men and women wearing large, rainbow colored skirts danced in a circle around “the table of the Eucharist.” Explaining its symbolism, he said: “We’re going to see many colors, which symbolize… diversity”. After the dance, he added: “We are a welcoming, diverse community, where nobody is superfluous, where we all (todos) feel at home, whoever/however we may be.” In the homily, Rodríguez del Pozo rejected a faithful understanding of Our Lady’s bodily Assumption: “No human being is going to ascend to heaven body and soul.”
Pastor John Cao served every day of his seven-year prison sentence. Now he's fighting stage 4 cancer, and China still will not let him come home to his family in the US. Please join me in petitioning President Trump to personally raise Pastor Cao’s case with President Xi on Sept. 24. Add your name and help bring Pastor Cao home: Help Bring Pastor John Cao Home#BringCaoHome
While I hope the best for Mr. Cao, and agree that he needs our prayers, it would be completely inappropriate to pray for his intentions. He is a schismatic heretic, and hence his intentions would not be that people join the one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church, but rather that people follow a schismatic and heretical path that will lead them not to eternal life but to perdition. . To clarify his situation, he is not a citizen of the United States, he is a citizen of China. After being duly prosecuted under Chinese law, and while in prison, his passport (Chinese, of course) expired. Because of his violation of Chinese law and subsequent conviction, his hukou was revoked, and he has been denied a passport renewal. I don't quite see how a diplomatic request by President Trump or anyone else would be perceived by the Chinese as anything other than interference in Chinese affairs.
The Vatican (Cardinal Tucho Fernández) has removed from the priesthood a San Antonio priest for publicly referring to Francis and Leo XIV as "usurpers". Fr. John Mary Foster founded the Mission of Divine Mercy in 2001, a small Catholic community in the Texas Hill Country. He was incardinated into the Archdiocese of San Antonio in November 2009. In April 2026, a canonical tribunal found Foster guilty of schism, meaning refusal of submission to the Roman Pontiff. The archdiocesan notice specifically describes this as “a crime against the faith.” The tribunal held that Foster had incurred latae sententiae excommunication and dismissed him from the clerical state. The sentence was publicly announced by Archbishop Gustavo García-Siller, 69, of San Antonio on August 14, 2026. The trial The judicial process was authorized by the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith. The tribunal consisted of three judges, a notary, a promoter of justice, and an advocate for Foster. The three judges were …Күбрәк

The Words of Jesus: All sins, in the Eyes of God, will be deemed acceptable by this new inclusive-Church. Any one who dares to challenge him will be sought out and punished. Those priests, bishops and cardinals who oppose him will be excommunicated and stripped of their titles. Others will be bullied and persecuted with many priests having to go into hiding. To those poor sacred servants of Mine who recognise My Voice now, please hear Me as I reach out to you to bring you comfort. You have been given the responsibility to testify on My behalf in order to save the souls of those whom you instruct and guide. All you can do is trust in Me and continue to serve Me. What you must not do is to accept any doctrine presented to you and which you will know, instantly, is not in accordance with My Teachings. You must do what your heart tells you, but know this. This period is going to cause you deep pain and the raw grief you will experience when you see how My Church will be desecrated will …Күбрәк
New FSSPX Chapel in Poland: On August 1, the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX) blessed a new chapel in Bydgoszcz, Poland. The previous chapel had become too small for the growing congregation. The FSSPX has maintained an apostolate in Poland's Kuyavian-Pomeranian region for more than 20 years. According to PiusX.org.pl, by April 30, 2026, a fundraising campaign for the new chapel had raised 306,595.86 PLN (about €71,000). The chapel was not newly built, but created by adapting existing premises over several weeks, including the sanctuary, sacristy, altar, and liturgical furnishings.
Cardinal Cobo Turns the Consecration into a Theatrical Display: On 15 August, Cardinal José Cobo of Madrid delivered a liturgically abusive, theatrical presentation of the consecration at the Eucharist for the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the Parish Church of the Virgen de la Paloma in Madrid. While saying the words of consecration - “Take this, all of you, and eat of it, for this is my Body” - Cardinal Cobo looked towards the congregation and extended the bread towards them. He made a similar gesture with the chalice while saying, “Take this, all of you, and drink from it.” The Eucharist was broadcast live on Telemadrid.

The silence of the GTV rebellious schismatics is deafening. Who is man enough to answer? Which of the many subsequent revisions of the 1570 Quo Primum Missal DID NOT violate "in perpetuity?"
Which Roman Rite Missal Revision DOES NOT Violate Quo Primum? Which Revised Missal Represents The UNADULTERATED TRUE TLM? Changes from the 1570 Missal to the 1962 Missal, with dates Changes to the Ordinary of Mass 1570 — Pius V promulgates the Roman Missal This is the baseline. 1604 — Clement VIII Revises the Missal and makes various textual and rubrical corrections. 1634 — Urban VIII Further revision, particularly of the liturgical texts and hymns. 1884 — Leo XIII New typical edition with various revisions. 1920 — Benedict XV Major revision following the work begun by Pius X. New calendar and revisions to rubrics and texts. 1951/1952 — Pius XII Experimental restoration of the Easter Vigil. This is the beginning of the major modern Holy Week transformation. 1955 — Pius XII Judica me removed from Palm Sunday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday. Holy Week radically reformed. @V.R.S. Thank you for your honest serious response. You have honestly admitted to the fact that the 1570 Missal was NOT verbatim "in perpetuity." We have established the fact that subsequent Popes had and have the Authority to revise the Roman Rite. Now, can subordinate Catholics hold personal private opinions whether these Popes' changes to the Roman Rite were proper or good changes? Sure. But, can a subordinate Catholic righteously make a definitive judgement regarding a Pope's revision of the Roman Rite, to the point of rebellion and schism? Absolutely not. Furthermore, if one believes it is righteous to rebel and schism against the 1970 Missal, which Missal does the rebel fall back to? 1570? Would not this be the "Pure TLM.?"
" Which of the many subsequent revisions of the 1570 Quo Primum Missal DID NOT violate "in perpetuity?" --- All of them. It is visible when you read these documents (not fables of the post-conciliar revolution about them). For example Clement VIII in Cum Sanctissimum wrote: "... Pope Pius V of happy memory, in accordance with the decree of the Council of Trent, took action to bring the Roman Missal into conformity with an ancient and purer model and to publish it in Rome. Although he very seriously forbade, under many penalties, that nothing should be added to it or removed from it for any reason, nevertheless, in the course of time, through the rashness and audacity of printers and others, many errors have crept into the missals printed in recent years... Considering these innovations, guided by Our pastoral concern, which impels Us to zealously protect and preserve the best, ancient norm in everything, especially in the sacred rites of the Church, We have ordered, first of all, that …Күбрәк
“Roman Mass Can Never Be Suppressed”: Masses in the traditional Roman rite are full of “young people, young married couples, and families with many children,” Cardinal Raymond Burke told Michael Knowles on August 15. Returning young Catholics “want the traditional liturgy,” he said. While there is no question that the Novus Ordo is valid, the older rite “communicates more fully and more richly the divine action.” Burke expects “an ever greater number of Catholics” to worship as Catholics did “for over 15 centuries”. Looking to Leo XIV, Cardinal Burke urges Catholics to make their wishes known “to their bishops and to the Holy Father most of all,” while making clear they are not questioning Vatican II. He insists the Mass “was never suppressed and never could be.” Burke recalls a bishop with “no attraction” to the Roman rite nevertheless describing its adherents as “some of our most devout Catholics” and asking: “Why would I deny that to them?”
Cardinal Burke to Michael Knowles on traditional Roman Mass: “The most important thing for those who love the traditional Latin Mass is to make known to their bishops - and to the Holy Father most of all - their desire to worship according to this form and that they’re not calling into question the validity of the Second Vatican Council”
@V.R.S. And if we look at these facts, this novus ordo is no longer just novus ordo, but is no-Roman-rite-novus ordo. Which certainly means anti-Roman-rite-novus-ordo. Which fits very well with some other gospel than that of our Lord Jesus Christ according to the Apostolic Tradition. Neither at Easter, nor at Pentecost, nor at the … Roman Canon = Roman Catholic Church.
The Priestly Fraternity of St Peter (FSSP) is preparing to establish its first permanent apostolate in Ecuador, following two years of missionary work there. The new apostolate will be based in Guale. The missions began at the invitation of Bishop Eduardo Castillo Pino of Portoviejo, who has supported the fraternity’s ministry and the celebration of the Roman Rite in the region. MissionTradition.us reports that the new apostolate will begin on August 19, with Fr Xavier Proust serving as priest-in-charge. The foundation will mark the Fraternity's first house in Ecuador. #newsZcigrcfyvd
