The Jesuit-led All India Catholic University Federation (AICUF) organized an interfaith observance of Sadbhavana Diwas (“Day of Goodwill”) at St. Xavier’s College in Mapusa, Goa, India, on August 17. The event included readings and reflections from different religious traditions in the presence of students and faculty. St. Xavier’s College is administered by the Archdiocese of Goa, while AICUF is a Jesuit-founded Catholic student movement.

Bishop Patrick Neary of Saint Cloud, Minnesota, issued a diocesan warning against the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX) after an unauthorized Mass was celebrated in the diocese. In a letter dated September 2, Bishop Neary said he had learned of a social-media post promoting a meeting at the restaurant Opole Pub to “explore bringing the Latin Mass” to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Opole.
