Leo XIV-appointed Archbishop Richard Moth of Westminster, England, approaches 'Traditionis Custodes' from what he describes as a pastoral perspective, “Where there is pastoral need, then I would make the argument for it,” he told NcRegister.com on September 10. In his previous Diocese of Arundel and Brighton, he said he “responded to that pastoral need.” Archbishop Moth believes that we need a greater sense of the transcendent in the liturgy, but believes this is “perfectly possible” using the Novus Ordo. Asked about an expected meeting with Catholic Prime Minister Andy Burnham, who is supports abortion and homosexual "marriage", Archbishop Moth replied evasively: “A conversation I would have with somebody about their conscience is between me and that individual,” he said. “If particular issues are raised, I would speak about them and address them, yes.” Moth also calls it “very positive” that Burnham has raised the need to improve palliative care in the context of the assisted-suicide …نور
Thinking Like a Saint: Fr. Timothy Gallagher on Consolation, Desolation, & God's Will "Discernment begins when we understand our inner stirrings—recognizing what is from God and what is from the enemy." Renowned author and spiritual director Fr. Timothy Gallagher, OMV joins CatholicTV to discuss Thinking Like a Saint. Why is it so difficult to hear God's voice through the constant noise and distractions of modern life? Returning to CatholicTV after more than two decades, Father Timothy Gallagher, OMV steps into the living room on This Is the Day to unpack the timeless wisdom of Saint Ignatius of Loyola and his new book, Thinking Like a Saint. Fr. Gallagher explains that the spiritual life is naturally filled with ups and downs. Drawing from 40 years of teaching, he breaks down the essential dynamics of Spiritual Consolation (when God feels close and prayer is full of life) and Spiritual Desolation (when prayer feels dry, heavy, and difficult). Rather than leaving us stranded in these …نور
A 35-year-old was arrested after entering a French church, shouting “Allahu Akbar” and asking for the priest. Police detained him inside Saint-Rémi church in Forbach after two 14-year-olds raised the alarm. Prosecutors say he carried an Opinel-type knife, which he never brandished, three SIM cards and cannabis resin.
I am no longer shocked at this. The people have themselves to blame because they have not stopped the illegals from invading, nor have they held their governments responsible.
Today, Pope Leo XIV appointed Bishop Crispin Barrete Varquez, 65, as the new bishop of Tagbilaran in the Philippines. He has been bishop of Borongan since 2007, for nearly two decades. His appointment to Tagbilaran marks a return to his home diocese. He spent much of his priestly ministry there before becoming a bishop. Varquez Replaces a Bishop-Elect Who Withdrew Tagbilaran diocese has been without a bishop since September 2025, when Archbishop Alberto Uy was promoted to Cebu. In March 2026, Leo XIV named Rev. Gerardo Saco as his successor. He withdrew just three weeks before his episcopal consecration in May, citing his “human limitations and inadequacies.” Monsignor Varquez was supposed to be one of Saco's two co-consecrators. “Inclusive Lay Ministries” In October 2025, Bishop Varquez mandated all parishes in his diocese to include persons with disabilities and people of “different sexual orientations” in inclusive lay ministries. Monsignor Varquez said their "gifts" should be “…نور
A Maine mother has been ordered by a court to stop reading the Bible to her daughter in her own home. Emily Bickford, a Christian mother, has been embroiled in a long-running custody dispute over the religious upbringing of her daughter, Ava. After becoming a Christian several years after Ava's birth, Bickford began taking her to church and teaching her the faith. The dispute intensified after Ava expressed interest in being baptized. A December 2024 court order restricted Bickford's ability to bring Ava to her church and gave the child's father significant authority over decisions concerning religious upbringing and medical care. Most notably, the order prohibits Bickford from reading the Bible to her daughter in her own home, a direct infringement on her religious freedom. Despite the restrictions, Ava continues to independently read the Bible and maintain her faith. Bickford plans to petition the U.S. Supreme Court with the help of Liberty Counsel. She continues to pray for Ava's …نور
"So that the soul that has denied and thrust away from itself the pleasures which come from all these things, and has mortified its desire with respect to them, may be said to be, as it were, in the darkness of night, which is naught else than an emptiness within itself of all things."
[Saint John of the Cross – XVI Century AD; born: Fontiveros, Crown of Castile, Spanish Monarchy/died: Ubeda, Crown of Castile, Spanish Monarchy; (Aged 49); Priest, Mystic, Writer, Doctor of the Church] “BOOK THE FIRST: Wherein is described the nature of dark night and how necessary it is to pass through it to Divine union; and in particular this book describes the dark night of sense, and desire, and the evils which these work in the soul. Chapter III ~ Speaks of the first cause of this night, which is that of the privation of the desire in all things, and gives the reason for which it is called night. WE here describe as night the privation of every kind of pleasure which belongs to the desire; for, even as night is naught but the privation of light, and, consequently, of all objects that can be seen by means of light, whereby the visual faculty remains unoccupied and in darkness, even so likewise the mortification of desire may be called night to the soul. For, when the soul is deprived …نور
On 6 September, the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX) was denied entry to the Basilica of Saint Francis in Assisi. The group had planned to conclude their annual pilgrimage with public prayer inside the basilica. Individual pilgrims were permitted to enter privately or in small groups. The group therefore remained outside and concluded their pilgrimage in the basilica square. Father Gabriele D’Avino, head of the FSSPX in Italy, drew a contrast between this decision and the interreligious gathering in Assisi on 27 October, for which representatives of different religions and Christian denominations are expected to attend the 40th anniversary of the 1986 World Day of Prayer for Peace.

Sisters Lana and Bana Ahmed were killed with their parents in Beit Lahia, north Gaza, during an Israeli attack last night. No more first day of school. No future to chase. They become part of the over 21,000 children Israel has killed since October 2023. facebook.com/share/p/1CAQJAqnqT/
Renzo Pegoraro, Leo XIV-appointed President of the Pontifical Academy for Life, has doubled down on his mad position on assisted suicide. Following his Avvenire interview, Monsignor Pegoraro told Corriere.it that Italy should pursue a national law, calling on political parties to press Parliament for legislation rather than leaving the issue to regional authorities. On the same day, his predecessor, Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia, intervened in LaRepubblica.it, saying Parliament should “shoulder its responsibilities” and establish national rules. Archbishop Pegoraro also addressed a Trentino provincial council committee examining an assisted-suicide bill, where he again called for uniform national regulation. LaNuovaBq.it suggests the simultaneous interventions could point to coordinated Italian Church backing for a national assisted-suicide law, possibly involving Italian bishops’ president Cardinal Matteo Zuppi.
Toxic indeed. Although, I suspect some of these are, no doubt, 'protected' by some form of governmental legislation and/or contractual arbitration depending upon the 'circumstances'. Unions have largely betrayed their original worthy and essential purposes.
A Vatican Dicastery secretary attended an interreligious ceremony featuring the Balinese idol Barong. On 5 September, Vatican representatives attended the Tri Hita Karana Universal Reflection Ceremony at Sunset Mandala, Bali. Part of Bali Harmony Encounter Week 2026, it was organized with Pope Francis-founded Scholas Occurrentes. Present were Msgr. Indunil Kankanamalage, Secretary of the Dicastery for Interreligious Dialogue, Rev. Marcin Schmidt, and Scholas director Maria Paz, alongside Indonesian officials, Balinese royalty and representatives of different religions. Organizers said the evening was “anchored by an interfaith prayer” and included the Bumi Bajra troupe performing with a "Barong" from Ubud Palace, accompanied by “sacred rhythms.” Barong, a lion-like ceremonial figure, represents a supernatural protector in Balinese Hindu tradition and is closely associated with Balinese religious ritual and temple life.

"And the city of seven hills will be no more" - Rome will return to its pagan roots - all courtesy of the Vatican and Leo's religious indifferentism, a poison fruit of Vatican II. Christians, get ready to flee - just as Lot fled from Sodom - and don't look back- the chastisement is coming --
On 7 September, Cardinal Gerhard Ludwig Müller addressed the “Tavola di Assisi 2026”: “Islam… is not ashamed of God, it is not ashamed of transcendence, but it proposes an anthropology and a revelation radically different from the Christian ones.” Invoking St Francis of Assisi’s encounter with Sultan al-Malik al-Kamil, Müller rejected the modern portrayal of Francis as a precursor of interreligious dialogue: “Francis did not go to Egypt to open a diplomatic salon and confirm the Sultan in his faith.” Instead, he went convinced that Jesus Christ is the only Savior. For Cardinal Müller, calling Muslims to conversion is “not an act of hostility… on the contrary, it is the highest act of charity.” He also warned that the Christian West is not “simply threatened by external forces, but is being worn down by an internal apostasy.”

A Christian of unknown denomination has become the patron of a new Catholic parish in Texas. Bishop Michael Olson of Fort Worth has announced the creation of a parish in Arlington named after Matthew Ayariga, a Ghanaian killed by ISIS in Libya in 2015. Ayariga was abducted alongside 20 Egyptian Coptic Christians. On February 15, 2015, ISIS executed all 21 men on a Libyan beach. According to accounts of the event, when Ayariga was asked about his faith, he replied, “Their God is my God.” The Coptic Orthodox group canonized all 21 victims shortly after their deaths. In 2023, Francis announced that the 21 martyrs would also be added to the Roman Martyrology.
Ma plein @maximumpain333 Dr. Hulda Clark was a pioneer in parasite cleansing. Long before internet trends, she wrote books like The Cure For All Cancers (1993) and The Cure For All Diseases (1995). In this 2000 interview, she explained something that challenged the way many people think about illness. She believed parasites were far more common than most people realized. And that addressing them was a foundational step in supporting the body’s own healing. Now, with the cyclospora outbreak, her work is more relevant than ever. She pointed to 3 specific herbs used together: Wormwood — traditionally used to help create an inhospitable environment for parasites Cloves (fresh ground) — historically used to address parasite eggs Green Black Walnut Hull — long used in herbal systems to support intestinal balance But she took it even further than parasites. She believed these same herbs, combined with an electrical treatment, were powerfully healing for the c-word.
