02:11A Massachusetts family says the state took custody of their teenage daughter after they refused to affirm her as a boy, citing their Catholic faith. The parents allege a school counselor socially transitioned their daughter without their knowledge, then reported them to the Department of Children and Families. Now the state has guardianship, and a restraining order prevents the teen's parents and older brother from contacting her. A judge has temporarily blocked the state from administering high-dose testosterone as the family fights the case. The next court hearing is set for Oct. 29.
In a good society, it would never even occur to governmental officials to do such a thing, the very idea of which they would regard with horror. In a decaying society, they might consider it but would be too terrified of the public backlash ever to try it. In our society…

. Ten (!) bishops and below 200 participants gathered for a homosexual conference titled “Good Practices in Pastoral Ministry with Homo-Affective and Transgender People” at the General Curia of the Jesuits in Rome on September 4.
Among the bishops were:
- Archbishop Gherardo Gambelli of Florence;

Four dioceses - Florence, Bari-Bitonto, Cremona and Chiavari - presented their existing homosexual programs.
These include dedicated diocesan teams, formation for priests and pastoral workers, accompaniment of families, and structures integrating ministry with homosexuals into ordinary diocesan pastoral work.
Bishop Dianin conveyed personal greetings from the president of the Italian bishops, Cardinal Matteo Zuppi.

Leo XIV's New Document: Lost in Buddhist Enlightenment, Islamic Āya and African Animism
Today, the 'International Theological Commission' published the verbose document “Caring for Our Common Home” (40,000 unreadable words). Cardinal Víctor Fernández brought the text to the consideration of Leo XIV on 28 July and authorized its publication on 21 August.
Positive Reception of Teilhard de Chardin
The text is often buried beneath dense and highly abstract vocabulary, much of it reflecting a cosmic and evolutionary vision of creation.
The document speaks of the Holy Spirit “Christifying” creation through a “progressive growth”, so that creation “advances toward its eschatological fulfillment.” Elsewhere it describes “all matter” as tending toward transformation and fulfillment in Christ.
Christ is consequently described as “the axis of the maturation of the world.”
This language is strongly reminiscent of the cosmic heresy of the French Jesuit Pierre Teilhard de Chardin (1881-1955). The …
The Vatican has released a new monster of a document, wherein the Most Holy Eucharist is described as an "ecological school".
God, Goodness and Philosophy – Dominikus Kraschl

This volume results from a conference held in Oxford, 2009 under the auspices of The British Society for the Philosophy of Religion (BSPR), entitled “God and Morality”. The volume is divided into two parts. Part I reflects “the relationship […] between our sense of morality and a transcendent cause”, while Part II deals with “the nature of God´s own goodness, and whether it coheres with other divine qualities and with the universe God has created” (9). In the following I will exclusively refer to the contributions of Part I, since I consider these to be of particular interest in the current philosophical and public debate.
A popular way of interpreting the relationship between God and morality, especially within Anglo-American discourse, is to propose that some, or even all, of our moral imperatives …franziskaner.at
Goodness is neither external to God nor created by arbitrary commands. Rather, goodness is identical with God's perfectly good nature.
ULTIM’ORA: RUPNIK ASSOLTO - MiL - Messainlatino.it

This is only for violence accusations. Sexual abuse trial still to come. Presumably, the trials for all his offenses will end promptly around 2065 in according to the zero tolerance policy of the church hierarchy.
Guardians of Tradition? At Écône, they altered the rite to avoid telling the truth
This morning in Écône, four priests were consecrated bishops without a papal mandate. The candidates were asked the question prescribed by the rite: “Habetis mandatum apostolicum?” - “Do you have the Apostolic Mandate?” Instead of answering that essential question, a brief statement drafted by the Superior General was read out, in an attempt to “justify” what remains a schismatic act.
And that is precisely the point. The rite was deliberately altered by those who extol it and invoke it as a bulwark of fidelity to Tradition. It was changed so that they would not have to answer truthfully a question as simple as it was decisive: do you have the Apostolic Mandate? No. They knew that they did not. Yet they distorted the liturgy - they, of all people, who claim to present themselves as the most faithful guardians of the form, the letter and the immutability of the rite.
I do not believe that this detail is …silerenonpossum.com
They are reading the oath of fidelity to the Pope as if it were nothing. They have literally said "I swear to serve and obey Pope Leo..." ending the oath by placing their hands on the Gospel saying "may God help me to fulfill it".
Full testament of Cardinal Ruini: A key aide to Pope John Paul II
VATICAN CITY (PerMariam) — The full testament of Cardinal Camillo Ruini – a key aide of Pope John Paul II – has been published, containing reflections on his long career and the three popes he served under as a prelate.
On June 16, Cdl. Ruini died in Rome at the age of 95.
Ordained in 1954, he was consecrated bishop in 1983 and made cardinal by John Paul II in 1991. He swiftly became an influential figure for the Polish Pope, serving as secretary general of the Italian Bishops Conference from 1986 - 1991, and then president of that body from 1991 until 2007. He was also vicar general of the Diocese of Rome from 1991 until 2008.

Ruini’s response to many social moral crises was much in line with John Paul II and Benedict XVI, and his firm opposition to LGBT ideology made him an unpopular figure in the increasingly anti-family forces gaining ground in Italian society. {For a detailed obituary …permariam.com
Cardinal Ruini on Pope Francis’s legacy: “I find myself in a state of unease, certainly not for personal reasons, but because I struggle to understand certain orientations that seem to reopen wounds that have barely healed since the Council.”
Suppression of Sunday and the Request for the Fatima Consecration | The Fatima Center
In the absence of a revelation from God, man in his natural state would most likely never have divided time into seven-day weeks. The day, the month, and the year are all based on obvious natural rhythms, but the seven-day rhythms that exist in nature are not as obvious. (However, there are many, as documented in the book I Have Spoken to You from Heaven.) Thus, the very fact that the whole world continues to operate according to a seven-day rhythm serves as a continual reminder of God’s Revelation in Genesis that He created all things in six days and consecrated the seventh day to Himself from the foundation of the world.
The Revolution Attacks the Seven-Day Week
As witnessed by the first Pope’s inspired and inerrant prophetic revelation in 2 Peter 3, the devil is determined to destroy our faith in God’s Genesis Revelation[i] by substituting a false materialistic, uniformitarian account of the origins …fatima.org
Does anyone know the chronology of the Fatima apparitions? To me, this seems strange. Did it only come in 1929? When did she say the war would end and a worse one would start? It's only written about in 1942.
From the article: However, the Blessed Mother did not actually make Her request for the Consecration of Russia in 1917. Instead, faithful to Her word, She returned on June 13, 1929. Appearing to Sister Lucia at the Dorothean Convent in Tuy (Spain), Our Lady said:
“The moment has come when God asks the Holy Father to make, in union with all the bishops of the world, the Consecration of Russia to My Immaculate Heart, promising to save it by this means.”
Rest in Peace, Brother Ignatius Maria
As many of you know by now, our Br Ignatius Maria passed into the better life on 12 April 2026. He was 24 years old. Brother is presumed to have drowned at sea, but the circumstances of his disappearance and death remain shrouded in mystery.
Brother Ignatius entered the Monastery in 2023 and advanced quickly in way of perfection. In just a few short years he became well known for his spirit of prayer, his true humility and his devoted charity towards others. He is remembered very fondly by all who knew him, and will be sorely missed.
His body was recovered, and he was buried on 13 May, 2026.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord; and let perpetual light shine upon him.
May he rest in peace. Amen.
On 12 May, a month to the day since Brother's disappearance, his body was collected from the undertaker on the Scottish mainland, and brought to Papa Stronsay on two ferry rides by his two brother, Brs Francisco and Aiden.

Cardinal Müller: “Israel’s Right to Exist Must Never Be Called into Question”
As a political, economic, technological, and military superpower, the United States bears a distinctive responsibility to contain dangerous regimes and dictatorships that pose a grave threat to the world. This position was articulated by Cardinal Gerhard Müller on Kath.net on 14 April.
He continues: “In light of present circumstances, the brutal crimes committed against one’s own people and against other nations must be confronted - not only through economic sanctions, but, where necessary, by military means.”
Cardinal Müller even draws a parallel with the Nazis: “The policy of appeasement toward Adolf Hitler proved catastrophic and exacted a devastating toll in World War II.”
Turning to Iran, Müller states: “The Iranian regime must be unequivocally denounced worldwide as a perversion of religion - religion which is ordered toward the worship of God and must never, in any form, be exploited to justify killing …
Cardinal Müller on Trump and Pope Leo XIV: “it must be clearly stated that no one has the right to criticize the Pope when he faithfully follows the mission he received from Christ to bear witness to the Gospel of peace.”
